Parker's Review: S6 Ep8 Let's Kill Hitler

Good Stuff
1.The Doctor's new coat very snazzy.
2. The Tesselecta was a brilliant idea finding criminals near the end of their timelines and then "give them hell".
3. With the risk of sounding like most teenage boys who watch Doctor Who I say that Amy Pond was looking fineeeee!
4. "Shut up Hitler!" I have a new found love for Rory after this episode.
5. The mysterious character Mel's turned out to be River/Melody.
6. Caitlin Blackwood returning as Young Amy, she is a natural actress.
7. River's line "Well, I was on my way to this gay gypsy Bar Mitzvah for the disabled, when I suddenly thought, "Gosh, the Third Reich's a bit rubbish — I think I'll kill the Führer" — who's with me?"
8. The book of spoilers being given to River by The Doctor so she knows where to find him. So Timey Wimey!

The Bad Stuff- My nitpicks basically
1. Just when we got answers we get another question. What is the oldest question hidden in plain sight? Moffat damn your intriguing-ness!
2. Hitler should have re-appeared towards the end maybe the Nazi's finding him in the cupboard sobbing.
3. The Doctor dying again he's catching up with Rory.
4. Rose, Martha and Donna as the holograms in the Tardis were clearly the cardboard standees you can buy. It was a nice nod to the RTD era though.

Overall I really enjoyed this episode and I would go as far as saying it's my favourite episode of the Moffat era mostly for it's fast pace and killer lines.

  2. Thanks Lucy XD The order I would put Series 6 in is:

    1.Let's Kll Hitler
    2.The Doctor's Wife
    3.Curse of the Black Spot
    4.Impossible Astronaut/Day of The Moon
    5.The Almost People/The Rebel Flesh
